What moment has defined your journey the most?
A moment that has defined my journey the most was when a close friend ascended to the next realm in 2014. That was the beginning of many awakenings within my self and that led to transformation, knowledge, strength and visions that fueled me to keep going.
What drives you?
What drives me the most is my passion to heal.
How are you paving the way for people in your community to succeed? Or opening doors that were once closed?
I am paving the way for people in my community through ways that are visible and invisible. To begin with my passion project, Artistic Healers, which is a platform for the contemporary goddess. AH began with a series of photos + videos highlighting women creating work that is healing in various mediums, then to an event with a panel+ of those involved and more local creatives to connect in real life. A while later, I brought it back with a series of interview questions with local women and now it is on pause because I want to be able to invest in it wholeheartedly and make it the best it can be as a platform for women to connect, create, be empowered, heal and much more.
I also think that with my imagery I have been able to inspire people to love their natural beauty/power, connect with nature and believe in their dreams. This allows them to tap into their inner being and get a step closer to succeeding.
Most meaningful project to date?
Hmmm so hard to pick most meaningful project but I feel like everything that has been created and experienced to this point is the most meaningful. Using my personal life as the catalyst for the art I put out and the people I photograph makes it all a never ending journey that is always connected, building and divine.
I am extremely excited for what is to come tho! With each future project/experience the visions and executions grow better and better.
Advice or a mantra you would like to pass on?
Advice I will like to pass on is to always put your healing first, don’t resist evolving and listen to your intuition.
